Sketch Saturday Number 66

Hi There

Well I have had a bash at this weeks Sketch Saturday..the sketch is here

and a close up of her…isn’t she cute a lovely hAnglar & stAnglar image which I was sent as a RAK. 

I have used Crate Paper-Katlin range which I adore. As mentioned before, the image is a H&S (when O when will be able to buy these in the UK she cries) I have used ribbon roses, wire curls with swarovski crystals on the end for a bit of sparkle.  The punch used for the two sections is a SU punch, Ribbon, flat back pearls and a Martha Stewart rose leaf punch.  I think thats about it, I love your comments so feel free to leave yours- bye for now Jo XX

Another Christmas Sugar Nellie…and Mojo Monday 101 !

and thought I would make another card using a  Christmas Sugar Nellie Stamp..well here she is

Again I have used the Colorful Christmas Papers from My Minds Eye which I bought from David and Brenda at www.craftobsessions.co.uk. I have also used stickles and of course crystals and ribbonwhich I also bought from them.  Here is a close up of Maggie…

Wow – She’s enormous !!!! I really love using these funky colours for Christmas cards…something a bit different from the normal !!!!

Well I always have the Sugar Nellie Blog as one of my tabs on “tinternet” and today Karen asked to see Chrsitmas cards using Sugar Nellie stamps…well I only have one that is vaguely Christmassy and I wasn’t “feeling the vibe” to use it so decided to festive up one of the Manga Chicks….I also attempted a tri-fold card using one of the tutorials on Split Coast Stampers…here is my card, I hope you like…

I have used the brand new My Minds Eye Papers – Colorful Christmas which I adore, The ribbon is from Creative Imaginations and has white snowflakes on it.  I have also used copious Swarovski Crystals. Here is a close up of Little Miss Manga…

I just love the colour combination of the Turquoise and the Orange…the paper is from Mt Minds Eye and is from the Bloom & Grow range. The stamp is the C C Swiss Pixie – Heidi who I absolutely adore. I have stickled her wings and I have used my Prisma Pencils to colour her….although I am getting a hankering for some Pro-Markers which I just can’t ignore !!

Stamp With Fun -Challenge 20

I have used the Lime Rickey range of papers from Basic Grey and also Bethany Angel from High Hopes Stamps..I love the combination of colours with her slightly hippy look.  I have also used for the first time my Edge Distresser from Heidi Swapp, I have had it for years and NEVER used it, I will from now on.

I just love the colour combination of the Lime and Orange. I have used Doodlebug Papers and the fabulous Manga stamp from Funky Kits.  I have coloured it in using my Prisma Colour pencils and was very unsure as to how to colour them as they are not your cutesy kind of stamps. I love the sketch and will be keeping it for future use..Here is a close up of her

I have used the new Manga stamp from Funky Kits which I adore. I have coloured her using my Prisma Color Pencils. The papers are Flip Flop from the paper loft.  I have used loads of pearls, prima flowers, ribbon and my Martha Stewart punch ( Lace Doily). The Message was done on the computer…here is a close up..
